About GPA
A dedicated team delivering architecture across commercial, institutional, medical, and industrial sectors — throughout California since 1997.
Our Story
GP Architecture, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Gonzalo J. Pedroso in Ventura County, California, with a straightforward mission: deliver exceptional commercial architecture that serves clients' real business needs — on time, within budget, and without surprises.
Over more than two decades, GPA has built a reputation for technical precision, responsive communication, and the kind of deep code knowledge that keeps projects moving through permit. Our practice is intentionally focused: commercial work, Southern California, and clients who value professionalism over flash.
The 2022 IIDA Calibre Design Award for the Roc Nation headquarters in Los Angeles is a reflection of what GPA does best — complex, high-performance projects where design ambition and technical rigor have to coexist. That balance defines everything we deliver, from a 1,500 SF medical suite to a 23,000 SF entertainment headquarters, to a 60,000 SF ground up warehouse to a 90,000+ SF R&D manufacturing facility. We deliver Architecture that answers to your purpose.

How We Work
Client-First Design
Every design decision is evaluated against your business goals, your budget, and your timeline — not an architectural agenda. Your project succeeds when the design works for you.
Code Expertise
Twenty-five years of California commercial work means we know the building code, the permit offices, and the fire marshal — and we design to avoid the correction cycles that cost time and money.
Boutique Firm, Deep Bench
Every project is led by a dedicated manager who owns it from kickoff to closeout. Senior leadership stays close, but your day-to-day contact is the same person throughout — no hand-offs, no surprises. It's a team that has collectively delivered hundreds of projects across California, with the responsiveness and accountability you'd expect from a firm that knows your name.
Sustainable by Default
Energy efficiency and sustainable design aren't add-ons — they're built into the process from the start, keeping long-term operating costs down and positioning your project for California's evolving energy codes.
